The last feeder special in October featured 5 pot loads of yearlings
that sold with good demand.  Obviously, with the last cattle on feed
report along with the drop in the futures prices they were several
dollars lower than the last few sales.  The balance of the sale was
mostly new crops with the longer weaned, double vaccinated calves
having the most interest and sold accordingly.  Short wean feeders
this time of the year often have trouble finding new homes.
