With harvest winding down, a nice crowd gathered for the November cow sale which
consisted of breeding bulls, bred cows and pairs.  A really nice 3 year old
Angus bull topped the bulls sale at $2900.

The pairs were well received and had a top of $3400 with the most attractive
end of these ranging from $2350 to $3100.  The balance sold from $2350 and down
Aged cows with calves at side brought from $2350 and down.

The bred cows topped at $2500 on a package of March calvers.  Several
packages of the 2nd periods sold in excess of $2000.  3rd period cows had a
top of $2350 but were far fewer in numbers.  A small group of 1st period
cows sold mostly from $1900/down.

366 slaughter cattle including 173 fed steers and heifers that sold with
good demand on a top of 189.50.
Slaughter cows traded fully steady on the fleshy breaker cows.  However,
the boners and cutters sold 2.00-3.00 lower.  A heavy run of slaughter bulls
sold steady.
