Thursday,  October 27, 2022 -  Special Feeder Sale

975 feeders from over 80 consignors found new homes today. The sale was a mixture of yearlings and new crop calves with the majority being sold in small packages.  One pot load of 8 wt. heifers with the rest of yearlings in groups of 5 to 40.  Because there's lot of harvesting still going on the calf trade was some cheaper especially on the fleshy short weaned calves lacking eye appeal.  Cow special is scheduled for November 1st and the next Feeder Special will be on November 3rd..
