550 slaughter cattle including 188 fed steers and heifers that sold with good demand
on a 170.00 top.  Prices today were the highest we've seen in several years as demand has trumped supply.

Slaughter cows and bulls continue to be pressured by large seasonal numbers brought
on by high feed prices as producers cut back going into winter.
