Tuesday, September 6, 2022 - Packer Day & Breeding Stock Sale

The Sept. cow sale featured a 35 head consignment of fall calving cows mostly
from 4-8 years and all 3rd periods.  They topped out at $2075 on a group of
4 & 5 year olds with other groups of 5 trading from $1775 - $1950.  The
balance of bred cows from various consignors sold from $1800 and down.
A package of 5 year olds with fancy calves at side topped that portion of
the sale @ $2350.  The balance of these pairs sold from $2100 and down.
Not a big sale with numbers but a nice quality offering


300 slaughter cattle including 153 fed steers and heifers that sold with good demand on all classes!  Fed cattle traded mostly steady except for a couple consignment on high choice/prime steers and heifers that sold 1.00-2.00 higher.

Slaughter cows sold mostly steady but bulls traded 3.00-4.00 higher!
