Tuesday, August 16, 2022 - Packer Day

289 slaughter cattle including 171 fed steers and heifers sold with good demand on all classes.  Fed top was 158.00 which compared to last week made the market mostly 5.00 higher.  A few consignments lacked the finish to reach these higher prices!

Slaughter cows traded steady with several more lower yielding and thinner type cows in the offering.  Bulls sold mainly steady with a top of 121.00 cwt.
