Tuesday, April 26, 2022 - Packer Day

390 slaughter cattle including 185 fed steers and heifers that sold with good demand on a 152.50 top.  Even though the cattle on feed report last Friday was bearish, the market still traded 1.00 higher.

Slaughter cows on another heavy run traded mostly steady.  Bulls once again were limited on high yielding bulls but all others sold steady.
