Impending weather shortened the receipts at today's feeder special with only 654 cattle trading homes. One pot load of backgrounded steers with the bulk of the rest being weaned/vaccinated steers and heifers weighing 500-700 lbs. Greener conditioned feeders still command the best prices as high feed costs remain a concern in the feeding sector!
Next special is February 18th.
