Tuesday, February 23,  2021 - Packer Day

440 slaughter cattle including 227 fed steers & heifers that sold on an active market.  no comparison with last week since winter weather caused us to cancel last week's slaughter sale.  Top today was 120.25 as the fed market continues to climb because of a positive box trade and fewer numbers.

Slaughter cows traded steady to firm on the breakers and boners with cutters 3.00 higher!  Slaughter bulls were also steady to firm even though high yielding bulls were scarce.
