The last cow sale of the spring season was well received and consisted of | |||
mostly 2nd period bred cows along with a few 3rd periods and cow/calf pairs! | |||
A handful of breeding bulls sold from $1850-$2150. Three packages of | |||
young cows with fancy calves at side topped that division from $2125- | |||
$2200. Another cut of these pairs traded homes from $1575-$1950 with the | |||
older plainer pairs selling from $1460 and down. | |||
The bred cows that were true fall calvers commanded the top prices in the | |||
bred division and topped out at $1750. The top end of these ranged from | |||
$1450-$1675. The balance of these 2nd periods traded from $1325/down. | |||
A few 3rd period cows topped at $1625 with the bulk of these ranging from | |||
$1100-$1475. | |||
