Tuesday, October 6, 2020 - Packer Day

The October cow sale although small in numbers had a few nice cows with calves at side and an
assortment of bred cows from young to old.

Top end of the pairs sold rom $1300-$1625 with the middle aged pairs trading from $11500-$1400.
Older cows with calves sold from $1175/down.

The bred cows gtrade consisted of mostly 2nd period with the more desirable sellin from $1100-$1400.
Middle-aged & older cows traded from $1050/down.



244 slaughter cattle including 148 fed steers & heifers that sold with good demand.  The trade was
1.00-2.00 higher with a top of 109.75.  Quality on the top end was the best its been in a couple
weeks.

Slaughter cows sold 4.00-5.00 on the breakers with boners and cutters steady.  Several fed cows
in the run sold with very good demand and topped at $81.50/cwt.
