Hot, muggy weather brought fewer numbers to the sale today at 230 slaughter cattle were sold with moderate demand 414 slaughter cattle including 227 fed steers & heifers that sold with moderate demand.  The market traded mostly 2.00 lower on the choice or better cattle and 3.00 lower on the more marginally finished steers & heifers.  Several cattle in today's run needed more weight & finish.

Slaughter cows traded steady to weak on the breakers with boner & cutter grades steady to 2.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls mostly steady on 30 bulls.
