858 feeder cattle were sold on another cold winter day with almost everyone complaining of ice covered lots, blowing snow and cold made for a smaller than a anticipated run and kept several buyers on the sideline!

Overall prices were steady on the long weaned, vaccinated cattle compared to our other sales this month, with the non-vaccinated unweaned feeders fetching lower prices because of the conditions.

January 31 will be feeder specials open to all feeders, weather permitting. Saturday, January 26^th is a bred stock sale featuring as usual the Kocher and Lowery bred heifers—175 head total—plus several choice mature cows from reputation producers bred to top bulls.
