Tues., July 31, 2018 - Packer Day

Last slaughter sale in July brought 300+ cattle to market with steers & heifers selling steady.  Top today was 114.00 compared to 113.25 last week.  Many consignments are still coming to town showing marginal finish and mixed grading.

Cull cows & bulls sold 2-3 lower.  Industry still seeing plenty of numbers which has caused prices to ease back!  No late summer increase in cow prices is expected.
