2267 cattle sold at Fairview Sale Barn
today. The market was very active and except
for consignments carrying a lot of flesh,
demand was excellent. With the prices
listed on the board for the coming months,
you can see how cattle feeders are less than
optimistic. Greener cattle with grass
potential that will stretch into the spring
months where fed cattle are normally higher.
So optimism for them is at a higher level
and they sold considerably higher than the
fleshy ones.
