January 18, 2018 - Special Feeder Sale
632 cattle sold
at Fairview Sale Barn today with most of the
feeders without shots, non-weaned, or still
bulls. Compared to the wean/vac sale
things were cheaper as expected.
Buyers prefer to take home the better
managed cattle and will pay more for them.
It pays to pay the veterinarian and that
fact is confirmed by the buying crowd.

Saturday, January 27
is the cow sale for young cows only and features the Kocher Farms consignments
of 95 big fancy bred heifers along with 80 fancy black baldy heifers from
Lowery, the dispersion of 40 young Angus cows from Brokaw. Other
consignments are pending.
