265 slaughter animals sold at Fairview Sale Barn today, consist of 95 fed cattle, 147 cows and 23 bulls. Fed cattle were a tick lower at the extreme top which was $128.25, but steady for the rest. Cows were steady to strong on a very good large run of very good quality. Bulls were very strong for the top end with a $89.00 top, but thin, less than mature bulls sold in the $70's.
Feeder calf special Thursday, May 10 along with a dispersal of 125 fancy bred cows, 75 with calves. Call Jake (309-224-2226) for any further information.
