The post New Year's rally continues in the fed cattle market as slaughter steer & heifers sold 2.00 higher.  Top was 126.00.  ins several cases, extra mud on sides and bellies hurt prices by as much as 3.00 cwt.

The cull cow market was active as 50+ cows brought 60.00 or more.  The cow market has gotten 6-8 higher since the lows of December.
