1359 cattle were in today's sale at Fairview Sale Barn. Yesterday's fog reduced the size of the run and this morning's icy conditions kept some of the buyers at home. There were no restrictions on this sale with several bull calves, many unweaned calves, and a large umber without vaccinations. Many also carried more flesh than the buyer's desired..
Next Thursday is a special feeder sale with over 90% weaned and vaccinated. Jan. 22 is the special bred stock sale featuring 100 Kocher bred heifers and 90 Lowery bred heifers and a couple of cow dispersals.
