1364 head of cattle sold today which consisted of 1340 feeder cattle and 24 cows.  The market was very active and prices were several dollars higher than last month's special.  An example, heifer weights were fully $10 to $15 higher.  Lighter, greener cattle suitable for grass were in high demand and went to numerous different buyers.  As usual, the weaned, vaccinated calves were the most popular.  Included in today's offering was 6 full potloads of steers.
