113 bred cows
sold and the
market was very mixed. There were only a very few front end young
cows in the sale and they brought from $1750 to $2000. Everything
else brought much less.
Remember
Saturday January 23rd. It’s Kocher day for front end bred
cows A lot of top quality bred heifers and one dispersion
consignment of 70+ commercial Angus cows.
First slaughter sale of the new year brought higher prices with good demand to all classes! slaughter steers & heifers were considerably higher with a top of 137.00
Cull cows sold steady and bulls 5.00 higher compared to the last 2 weeks.
