Cattle changed hands and once again prices were kind to the
cow/calf producer. As the middle of February approaches, the
grass influence once again enters the buying picture and
influences the market for the lighter and greener feeders.
The fleshier cattle which are too fat for grass also get a
slight boost in price because of prices their greener
counter parts bring. Obviously the greener cattle were at
the top of the price range and flesh figured at the lower
end.
