Cow & bull trade was very active.

Receipts: 576 Last Week: 209
Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers sold 1.00 to
2.25 higher. Slaughter cows sold mixed, with Breakers and Boners
selling 1.00 to 2.00 lower and Leans selling 10.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls sold 6.00 higher. Five 2 year old tested bulls sold from 2000 to
4600 and averaged 3240 per head in conjunction with the Special Bred
Cow Sale following the regular weekly slaughter cattle sale. Trade was
active with good demand. Slaughter steers accounted for 10 percent
of the run; slaughter heifers 13 percent; slaughter cows 26 percent;
slaughter bulls 2 percent; and bred cows and pairs 49 percent.
