Saturday, January 10, 2015 - Annual Feeder Sale
1480 feeders sold in today's auction at Fairview Sale Barn. There was an excellent buyer turnout and it was a very competitive market. Light cattle, especially steers, continue to set the pace. Several carrying some dirt and a few too fleshy for their size sold behind their greener counterparts. Middle & upper weights were about steady with last Saturday.
The next special will be for top quality front end bred heifers and cows and will be Saturday,January 24. Blaine Lotz, the LMA 2014 World Champion Auctioneer will share the mic with Brian for this sale.
The next feeder special is Thursday, January 29.
