In spite of the snow and cold, 230 cattle came to the auction.  Plenty of buyers were in attendance and it was a very brisk, fair market.  There were not enough in any weight range to fairly make a market rest.  Steers and bulls 400# to 600# topped at 265.00 and heifers $251.  600-700# had an extreme top of $241.00 and heifers $212.00.  8 wt. steers topped at $216.00.

Cow sale next Tuesday, March 3, will sell a good run of 250 to 300 bred cows and 3 outstanding proven 2-yr old bulls.
