Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013- Packer Day
With harvest in full swing, slaughter receipts were
lighter in numbers compared to the last several weeks. Slaughter steers &
heifers topped at 128.25. Buyers continue to be most concerned with finish
because of the Choice/Select spread.
Slaughter cows sold weak to 2.00 lower and bulls
steady.
