Regular Sale
209 cattle sold today.
Cattle suitable for grass remain popular as rains continue promising a lush
grazing season. Most of the run was 600# and under with top steers ranging
in price from $140 to $183. Heifers were $138 to $158. A few long on
flesh and short on quality brought less. Steers above 600# were scarce and
ranged up to $133. The best bred cows sold from $1100 to $1400 with some
older and lower quality bringing less. Market cows sold for $65 to a top
of $83.50.
