Tuesday, June 11, 2013- Packer Day
Some nice weather the last several days led to a
short run compared to a week ago of all slaughter classes at Fairview Sale Barn
today! Fed cattle traded 2.00 lower with a 127.50 top. Buyers were
noticeably more critical when it came to evaluating age and finish on the fed
cattle. As the select spread continue to widen and the old crop fed
heifers fall into that no roll/heiferette grade they both have become less
popular with the buyers.
Cows & bulls scarce in numbers and not well tested.
