Packer Day - Bred Cow Sale
Compared to two weeks ago, slaughter steers &
heifers sold 3-4 higher on a top of 131.00 cwt.
Slaughter cows were 2-4 higher with a 89.00 top.
Slaughter bulls top was 95.25 cwt.
Tuesday evening our bred cow sale was short on
numbers because of the weather, but a good crowd braved the weather to bin on
the bred cows. A package of spring calvers topped the sale at $1825 per
head.
