Tuesday, March 26, 2013- Packer Day

Short run of slaughter steers & heifers after Sunday's 6-10" snow that kept some cattle at home.  Market was 1.00 to instances 2.00 higher than last week even though all grades were not well tested.  Steer top was 129.75.

Good morning run of cows & bulls bolstered the overall receipts as that market was fully stead with last week.  Best yielding cows sold over 80.00 and bulls topped at 99.00 cwt.
