Special Feeder Sale
1868 cattle today. The market overall for
cattle 600# and lighter was a little stronger than last Saturday. 85% of
the run weighed less than 700# and the kind was very good with a lot of
condition. Some were a bit fleshy due to drought influenced early weaning,
others carried some mud and manure because of the goofy weather, and a few
simply lacked desirable quality. These brought less than the listed
figures below.
Reminder--next Saturday, January 19, we will offer
a couple hundred choice bred heifers and up to a hundred top young replacement
cows -- noon.
