As the snow fell this week, so did our receipts as most producers were unwilling to move any cattle in these conditions.

Less than 100 feeder cattle today and there was not enough of any one class to accurately test the market.  Slaughter cattle had a few choice grading steers & heifers selling from 123.00 to 124.00 on a limited test.  Slaughter cows were active with the best yielding cows selling from 78.00 to 85.50.  The fed cattle market will be higher next week!
