Thursday, April 25, 2013 Regular Sale & Greek
Easter Lamb
271 cattle today included
53 bred cows, 5 cow/calf pairs, 35 slaughter cows, 178 feeders and 1 bull.
Pair's and 3rd stage cows were very much in demand. Later calving cows sold very
well but for less than the above. Feeders continue the trend of grass
weights leading the parade. Several carried excessive flesh and many of
the better males were bulls.
278 sheep, mostly lambs for Greek Easter, sold steady. Top lambs 50-70#
sold between $152.50 and $157.50.
Next cow special Tues., May 7, 5:00 p.m.
Next feeder special Thurs., May 16, noon
