Tuesday, April 23, 2013- Packer Day
Last week's heavy rains made sorting & moving
cattle almost impssible and put a stop to any ideas of field work.
slaughter steers & heifers sold 2.00 to instances 3.00 lower although the cattle
with extra yield & grade were not very prevalent.
Large slaughter cow runs continue to be the norm as
the market was weak to 2.00 lower. Bulls sold steady.
