Market
Overview Nov 6, 2015
1062
Head
were in the auction this week. The market was steady for
everything except slaughter bulls which were once again
a couple of bucks lower. With the harvest over feeder
buyers continue to increase at the sale barn and are
buying cattle although at much lower figures than a year
ago. If the price is right there are plenty of bidders.
All the slaughter buyers continue to attend, but Packers
continue to keep a tight leash on them. There seems to
be plenty of slaughter cattle available and none of them
are overly aggressive because of this.
