Over 1100 cattle for today's feeder special sold with excellent demand
on both the yearlings off grass and the weaned/vaccinated new crop
calves!  Calf prices were several dollars higher than just 2 weeks ago
as we saw several packages of 4, 5 & 6 weight steer calves topping
300.00 cwt!  Not far behind were their heifer mates as some of them also
cleared the 300.00 hurdle. The yearlings were sold in packages as their
were not any load lots in this sale.
