Tuesday, October 6, 2016 - Packer Day

Compared to last week, slaughter steers & heifers sold mostly 3.00 lower.  Top today was 103.75!  With the live cattle futures considerably higher today, hopefully we can stop this price decline we've seen the last several weeks.

Cull cows sold 3-4 lower with the bulk of the cows bringing between 55.00 and 62.00 cwt.  Bull trade was not established with a definite lower undertone!
